GC chiral capillary columns cyclic oligosaccharide phases consisting of seven (B-cyclodextrin) or eight (y-cyclodextrin) glucose units bonded through a-1,4-linkages. The regioselective derivatization of the hydroxyl groups leads to phases with varying enantioselectivity, which are well suited for GC enantiomer analyses.
